We interviewed a lot of different contractors before we had our house built. It was the years of experience that Darren and Angus had that helped us make the decision to go with them. They’ve obviously worked on a lot of different project, including full custom homes, so when they laid out the process for us, we could see there wouldn’t be any hidden surprises. Despite lots of challenges that came our way – from the weather to the changing price of building materials – they managed to keep things moving and within the budget..

When our last contractor kept just not showing up when he said he would, or else showing up unannounced, it really made things difficult for us. We’re a busy family and run a tight ship. We finally had to let them go. Darren and Angus were recommended to us by some friends and right away it was easier. They were there when they said they would be, explaining all the steps to us when we wanted to know but not overwhelming us with the tiny details.
